Serving the Filipino Community in Amsterdam

Ayuda sa Amsterdam is a program initiated by the Filipino LGBT Europe Foundation, providing aid to Filipino immigrants and other individuals in need in Amsterdam. Launched at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, this initiative offers weekly food distributions, grocery vouchers, and basic health services, thanks to partnerships with organizations like the Red Cross Netherlands, Dokters van de Wereld, and the Community of Sant’ Egidio. Beyond food aid, the program has included digital food vouchers to help beneficiaries access essential groceries directly through their mobile devices. Ayuda sa Amsterdam also relies on a dedicated team of volunteers, including Filipino nurses, who help ensure the delivery of these essential services to hundreds of people every week. For those interested in volunteering or supporting Ayuda sa Amsterdam, donations and volunteer efforts are welcome, and more information can be found social media channels.
